On Monday, three teachers became the victims of the suspected al-Shabaab militants’ attack in Kenya.
According to the police reports, the jihadists broke into the Kamuthe primary school, in Garissa County near the border with Somalia, releasing a stray of bullets upon the staff inside before setting the local police station on fire.
Three educators were allegedly gunned down while one child sustained wounds during the incident.
The attackers also destroyed the telecommunication tower.
Al-Shabaab has stepped up the pace of its attacks in Kenya since the New Year, killing dozens of the local residents, including minors.
