Libya ceasefire meeting kicked off in Moscow

Ceasefire talks begin in Moscow

A crucial meeting presided by Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov to officially sign a ceasefire agreement in Libya has started in the Russian capital on Monday morning.

Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar and his Russian counterpart Sergey Shoygu are also present at the meeting.

UN-recognized Libyan Prime Minister Fayez al-Sarraj and Eastern Libya Commander General Khalifa Haftar have also arrived in Moscow and are expected to be part of the talks.
