The police in Rumphi, Malawi, have arrested a 35-year-old citizen for killing a man over cooked meat.

The deceased, identified as Leonard Chunda from Mahowe Village in the area of Traditional Authority Nthalire in Chitipa District, as well as the killer, were tenants on a certain farm at Msakachuma Village around Hewe area.

Their employer bought meat for them to cook.
