The Kwirire school in Chimanimani East, Zimbabwe, has been partly destroyed by the severe storm that hit most parts of Manicaland in the early hours of Friday.
The institution which has just been restored from the Cyclone Idai’s devastation lost its roofs in the four blocks due to the hail wind.
However, Manicaland provincial education director Edward Shumb is optimistic the students would soon return to their studies.
“There were classes that were repaired after the cyclone and I am made to understand that these were not destroyed. We are not yet in a position to close the school,” he told the local media.
