The fifth edition of Global Business Forum Africa (GBF Africa) will be held on November 18-19, 2019, in Dubai. Zimbabwe President Emmerson Mnangagwa is listed among 40 prominent speakers from the UAE, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Seychelles, Kenya, Mozambique, Ghana, Ethiopia, Nigeria, etc.

There are 26 interactive sessions planned as part of the 2-day forum. Each of them is focused on how to scale up the economy and open a new era of growth and prosperity.

“As the largest event of its kind in the region, GBF Africa 2019 will engage leading decision-makers and key stakeholders in a constructive dialogue. It is designed to examine bilateral business opportunities and lay the groundwork for new partnerships that can support Africa’s economic development and benefit UAE companies that have set their sights on African markets,” Hamad Buamim, the President and CEO of Dubai Chamber, explained.

Mnangagwa will reportedly discuss the challenges and opportunities to revitalise Zimbabwe and the role that the entrepreneurs and investors can play to help resolve urgent issues from water, fuel and power shortages to food security, healthcare and job creation.

Mnangagwa will be joined by Mthuli Ncube, the Minister of Finance and Economic Development. Other high-level participants are the presidents of Liberia, George Weah, and Seychelles, Danny Faure, and the UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director-General of Expo 2020 Dubai, Reem Al Hashimy.
