WHO: Cases of measles rise by 700% in Africa

According to the World Health Organization, the measles cases have surged by 700% this year alone as the access to the vaccines is limited.

Some parts of Africa are dealing with an outbreak of measles. The preventable disease is making a comeback because many people here are not being vaccinated.

The DRC has declared a measles outbreak after 1,500 deaths and Chad has already declared a national emergency.
