Air Zimbabwe and Botswana’s MackAir announced a deal for flights linking tourist spots inside Zimbabwe.
The flights will also link tourism hubs in several SADC countries including Zimbabwe, Botswana, Mozambique and South Africa.
Air Zimbabwe’s recently attained Embraer and Mack Air’s Cessnas will operate the routes.
It is believed that the newly signed agreement, will result in the introduction of daily domestic scheduled air services between Victoria Falls, Harare and other major tourist destinations such as Hwange, Kariba and Chiredzi.
Mack Air and Air Zimbabwe have also confirmed that they will spearhead and support the upgrade of Kariba and Hwange Airports together with the Civil Authority of Zimbabwe.
