Euthanasia advocate Sean Davison was sentenced to eight years house arrest for murder by the Western Cape High Court.

This followed after he pleaded guilty to helping Anrich Burger, Justin Varian and Richard Holland to take their own lives.

Davison will serve three years of house arrest as the other five years are suspended.

Under the house arrest, Davison will be allowed to go to work, church or visit a doctor and he is requested to serve sixteen hours of community service each month.

He is not allowed to leave his residence or visit without permission from a correctional supervision officer and he will be under observation as he will be wearing a monitoring device.
