A Lesotho man has been sentenced to life behind bars in the Thaba Nchu Regional Court. He was accused of raping a 27-year-old woman at Sediba Trust.
Moholi Joseph raped his victim in March 2018. She left a local tavern and was walking home alone.
The perpetrator attacked the woman, dragged her under the trees and raped her. Later, he took the victim to his house.
The criminal was arrested by the police officers the same day.
Free State Police Provincial Commissioner Lt Gen Moeketsi Sempe has applauded the investigating officers.
