The popular tourist destination had gone without large-scale food aid since being hit two cyclone in the last few months.
The southern African country was destroyed by two cyclones, Idai and Kenneth, which had left 41 people dead and many without homes, access to proper food and clothing.
The Directorate for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs has announced it will donate a second contribution of €250,000 in financial aid to Mozambique.
The contribution would be allocated to Unicef to contribute towards the organisation making the effort in helping survivors and building temporary centres for shelter and educating the sum of 38 000 children.
The directorate, which is under Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, allocated €250,000 towards the international Red Cross previously.
