A group of medical students from Paris Descartes University will travel to Zambia next week in order to help people with medical supplies.

According to Zambia’s Ambassador to France Dr. Christine Kaseba-Sata, the young specialists are going to visit six villages in Livingstone, Southern Province, where they will distribute essential drugs and equipment between local medical centres.

During a 42-day-long trip, the students will also construct an infirmary at Twabuka Primary School near Livingstone.

The learners’ group have partnered with two associations namely Solidarité étudiants médecine (SOLEM) and Paving the Way to School (PWS) which have been already working on several separate projects in Zambia.
