A 14-month-old baby was brutally murdered in Khwekhwe village. Limpopo police are hunting for the merciless killers.
Last time, the child was seen on Monday sleeping with his father.
“The child was allegedly sleeping with his father. It was reported that the child’s father went to the toilet at about 20:00 on Sunday, 14 April and upon return, he allegedly found the child missing. The child was reportedly staying with his father after he was separated from his mother. Police responded immediately and began with initial investigations,” the police spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe, stated.
The baby’s lifeless body with multiple injuries was soon found at Lebuvu crèche yard not far from the father’s house.
“The Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo has condemned this senseless killing in the strongest terms,” Ngoepe said.
