The Jacob Zuma Foundation has unleashed its anger on Sunday Times, which reported that Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi’s millions had been partly kept by the former South African president.
According to its statement, the materials published were fabricated and not only lied about the matter but also put Zuma’s life in danger.
“Once again those scoops turned out to be false. It is apparent that the Sunday Times joins an international cabal attempting to put former president Zuma’s life in danger,” the foundation stated.
Within the reports, the newspaper’s author claimed that R422m had been stashed in the Nkandla residency owned by Zuma and later had been transferred to Eswatini (formerly Swaziland). Swazi King Mswati stated in response to the information given that he knew nothing about it.
Jacob Zuma, a former leader who had been heading the country for 8 years, has also said that he was going to sue the publisher following the article.
