Recent elections in Madagascar had the new ambitious president voted by the majority – Andry Rajoelina.
The recent investigation released by the BBC yesterday is questioning the nature of his leadership and raises questions of Russia’s meddling into the elections. Strangely, the video that was intended to be compromising and revealing has only an interview with Pastor Mailhol, who is thinking of himself as a prophet, as an evidence, and has long time been considered out of this world. Among the prophecies Mailhol made was the one saying he was going to be the president of the Republic back in 2013 and then again in 2018.
Mailhol is also a practicing exorcist, taking believers who ‘are haunted by witches’ to the distant sites in the mountains, claiming to have driven the demons and evil spirits away. Such actions may as well be a form of spiritual abuse that has risen exponentially in recent years. Not only Mailhol rids people of their demons but also of their properties as the hefty church fee is applied, too.
As is mentioned in La Gazette, Pastor Mailhol has set up a cult in his name called Apokalipsy with at least two millions of followers. The true reason behind its creation is unknown, what is clear though is his personal gain. Luxury Jaguar, Porsche and Hammer cars, all of that he acquired in one of the most impoverished countries in the world where more than three out of every four citizens live on less than $1.90 a day. Having been asked once of his source of income, Pastor responded that the money came directly from God.
The piece showcasing the three Russians on site with Pastor is clearly staged for were the real connections to be made, no close footage would have been allowed.
Nevertheless, from what the short video offers, there seems to be no worthy proof of the support Mailhol or any presidential candidates received. The only thing clear enough is that the information comes from a person with a highly dubious background. It is up to our readers to make their own opinion of what has been compromised here.
