The South African International Relations Department (Dirco) is now looking into allegations that missing Gaddafi millions were partly kept by former SA President Jacob Zuma.

The previous ruler of the republic is said to have hidden approximately $30 million from the funds belonging to his Libyan counterpart Muammar Gaddafi, and placed them at Nkandla residency to secretly transfer the cash to Eswatini (Swaziland).

Before his death in 2011, Gaddafi allegedly moved billions from his treasury to countries around the world. While South Africa is said to be one of them, previously there have not been enough evidence to support these accusations.
