Cyril Ramaphosa, ANC President, has taken part in the door-to-door campaign in the Diepsloot community. During his visit, Ramaphosa addressed the journalists.
President has highlighted his confidence in the fact that the Diepsloot community will vote for the governing party in their numbers on the election day.
As it has been stated by Cyril Ramaphosa, “I am confident that the ANC here in Diepsloot will do well. The sense that we are getting from the houses that we have visited is that the people are looking forward to 8 May.”
Ramaphosa devoted Thursday to the community meetings in Diepsloot and Ivory Park in order to engage with the citizens participating in the events.
Ramaphosa has added that the residents raised a number of issues including housing, jobs, and crime.
He said the following, “That is why I told them that we are going on a major campaign to ensure that we get rid of crime elsewhere in the area.”
