Ndola Central Member of Parliament Emmanuel Mulenga believes the growing population of Ndola should be provided with modern infrastructure.
Mr. Mulenga points out that that roads in the Central Business District (CBDs) of Ndola should be renewed and expanded to fit the growing economic activities.
Speaking to ZANIS yesterday, Mr. Mulenga said that town roads should be expanded, and new roads should be constructed.
Meanwhile, Mr. Mulenga has mentioned that the 2018 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) received by Ndola city would be used to improve Chibolelo, Kansenshi and Mwabombeni secondary schools.
Mr. Mulenga explained that due to the growing school youths and vastness of his district, Ndola city needs to have appropriate road and education infrastructures.
He thanked the government for the CDF and said that the fund is going improve the life quality of the people.
In December last year, government granted CDF to all the 156 districts of Zambia.
Finance of Minister, Margaret Mwanakatwe, disclosed that the government will make sure that the CDF is paid timely to every district regardless of their demographic and location.
