Growing need for better health services will be sated when the newly upgraded Vredenburg Hospital opens its doors in the Western Cape.
The renovation includes a new theatre and a paediatrics unit. The total upgrades cost is R172 million.
The Western Cape Health Department’s Colleen Smart commented: “These upgrades from the revitalization process to improve the infrastructure and service delivery in this community. The hospital was identified as having a need for additional services because of its growing population in the broader community.”
