Polokwane businessman found unharmed after robbers kidnapped him

Limpopo police have found and rescued a local businessman, who was previously kidnapped by unknown robbers.

According to the police reports, several armed perpetrators entered the victim’s house on Saturday evening, pointing guns at the owner as well as his employees.

As the criminals looted the building, reportedly taking only cellphones, they ordered the victim to get in his Porsche vehicle and drove away with him.

“The car was later found abandoned near Ivy Park suburb within the city of Polokwane,” police spokesperson Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe said.

The victim was later dumped in an open field a few kilometres outside of Polokwane still tied up and blindfolded. He was found unharmed. As it was also confirmed, an undisclosed sum of money had been withdrawn from the victim’s bank account before he was left at that spot.
