Students at various universities in Durban are planning a mass march to the City Hall. It has been reported by the Metro Police.

As is known, several protests have been held on Sunday in Durban. Students spoke against housing and scholarship issues, and also expressed outrage at the death of Mlungisi Madonsel, a student at the Durban University of Technology (DUT).

The protest was attended by the students of the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) who were throwing their belongings, including beds and mattresses, out of the windows.

On Monday, February 18, protesters are planning to walk in the direction of the City Hall from Curries Fountain through Winterton Wharf, Alice Street, Grey Street, West Street, and Pixley KaSeme Street.
