On Tuesday, February 12, the Vaal University of Technology (VUT) administration will meet with the leaders of the protesting students.
As the representative of the university pointed out, classes would be suspended until the results of the meeting between the leadership and the Student Representative Council were made public.
As it has become known, on Monday, February 11, students protestors have blocked all the main entrances to the university campuses.
In particular, the protesters demanded the financially excluded students to be able to register. They also called for the National Student Aid Scheme to pay benefits.
