The Northern Cape woman who is accused of killing her two-year-old son remains under arrest. On Monday, February 11, the 33-year-old woman appeared before the Springbok court.
As it has been previously reported, the alleged killer was detained by police officers on Sunday. According to the investigation, the woman beat her two-year-old son with a stone in Jakkalswater in Nababeep. The child died from the injuries.
At the moment, the police are investigating the causes and circumstances that prompted the woman to kill her child.
According to the police captain Sergio Kock, the murder case has been postponed until February 28:
“The suspect, known as Alidin Goedeman, appeared briefly in court and the case was postponed for 28 February for further investigation. She remains in custody.”
