On Tuesday, February 12, the North West Department of Local Government and Human Settlements will hold a summit at Taung Hotel School in the Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati district.
As it has been reported by the South African government,the purpose of the event is to discuss problems related to sanitation and water supply in South Africa.
As the provincial department stressed, the main task of the meetings was to discuss one of the most important and relevant topics for the society and to come up with the relevant solutions.
“The purpose of these summits is to discuss water and sanitation challenges in the province in order to develop plans that will ensure that there is stability and sustainability in the provision of water and sanitation in all areas in the province,” the provincial department pointed out.
Also, the South African government reported that the summit would not be the last. The meetings will also be organized on February 20, 26 and 27 in Ngaka Modiri Molema, Bojanala Platinum and Dr Kenneth Kaunda districts.
