Stone Sizani, South African ambassador to Germany, asked local companies to enter into partnership with German colleagues. It was voiced at the leading international fair for the fresh fruit and vegetable industry, the Fruit Logistica Trade Fair, which has been held in Berlin. South African manufacturers participated at the exhibition through the Department of Commerce and Industry (DTI).
According to Sizani, who arrived at the fair and visited the South African pavilion, SA manufacturers should establish a dialogue with German companies, especially when it comes to presenting South African goods and services for the European market.
Sizani also advised local manufacturers to contact the embassy if they needed help.
At the moment, according to the government, more than 630 German companies are investing in the Republic of South Africa.
