On Monday, February 11, the South African energy company Eskom will commit the load shedding. As the Eskom’s press office said, the load shedding would be carried out from 9:00 am on Monday until the end of the week.

As it has become known earlier, on Sunday, the energy giant Eskom was supposed to carry out the planned disconnection at the Stage 2 throughout South Africa. It was the first outage since December 20th.

According to Eskom spokesperson Andrew Etzinger, the company still cannot provide uninterrupted access to electricity, despite the new power plants.

Today, public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan will hold a meeting with the utility’s board at Megawatt Park, where he will discuss the current issues.
