South African President Cyril Ramaphosa will speak at the 25th annual Investing in Africa Mining Indaba that is taking place today in Cape Town.
Indaba will bring together the most influential and interested unions and enterprises involved in shaping the mining market in Africa.
This year, the event will discuss sustainable economic development in Africa, resource nationalism and innovations in mining technology.
As the South African Government pointed out, the country sees Indaba as “a strategic forum for attracting and encouraging foreign direct investment in various sectors of the mining industry.”
The South African government has identified the mining industry as one of the most perspective areas of economic development and foreign investment.
