As a part of the Cabinet Lekgotla in Pretoria, the South African president Cyril Ramaphosa called on the government to focus primarily on the economic development, as well as more efficient work of the public service.

The president noted that today the government needs to create appropriate conditions and opportunities for the accelerated economic growth. Ramaphosa added that today it is necessary to form an economy that would provide opportunities for women, youth and unemployed South Africans.

In addition, Cyril Ramaphosa called on civil servants to pursue more balanced work of a higher quality and drew attention to the priority areas such as education and health care.
