The South African Department of Labor is starting a national survey aimed at assessing the level of the National Minimum Wage implementation in the country’s enterprises.

On Tuesday, January 29, it has been announced that the campaign is to start in February. The procedures will be carried out by the Inspection and Enforcement Services (IES) branch of the department.

It is reported that the experts will pay attention to the state of affairs in the wholesale and retail sectors. According to the preliminary studies, these are the most pressing points.

Deputy Director General Aggy Moiloa revealed that about 1392 inspectors would implement the controlling at the enterprises.
