Zimbabwean Ambassador to Sweden Mr Samuel Mhango died at the Avenues Clinic in Harare. As said the representative of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Mr G. Gapare, he passed away on Sunday evening.
It is known, that Ambassador Mhango felt bad when he had worked in Stockholm, Sweden. He was taken home, in Zimbabwe, on 11 January. According to preliminary data, Mhango died due to long-term heart disease. Samuel Mhango has a spouse and four children left.
Ambassador Samuel Mhango was born on February 16, 1958 in Zvishavane. In 1976, he joined the liberation struggle in Lusaka, Zambia, and in 1978 was seconded to Bulgaria to receive a higher education. Then, in 1983, he entered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Mr Samuel Mhango was appointed as Zimbabwe’s ambassador to Sweden in 2014.
