On Monday, January 28, Johannesburg honored firefighters who participated in extinguishing a deadly fire in a Bank of Lisbon Building.
In September 2018, three South Africans, Simphiwe Moropane, Mduduzi Ndlovu and Khathutshelo Muedi, participated in extinguishing a fire on the 23rd floor of the Johannesburg CBD, sacrificing their lives to save the local residents.
At a ceremony, organized at the Florida fire station, were honored three brave men, who saved hundreds of lives, and their families.
According to Nana Radebe, Johannesburg Emergency Medical Services spokesperson, at the ceremony on Monday were honored 44 firefighters and four policemen.
