Two policemen, who are accused of killing a Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) student, will again be brought before the Soshanguve Magistrates Court.

A repeat meeting is scheduled for Friday, January 25th.

Suspected of the murder, John Slender and Joseph Rapoo, have been arrested by the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid) last year. The two men have allegedly shot Katlego Monareng, a law student of the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), during a protest, and were released on bail.

The protest among students was held after allegations of fraud in the elections of student council representatives on the Soshanguve campus.
