On Monday evening in Zimbabwe reappeared the Internet. Zimbabweans gained access to the Internet and social media after the ruling of the High Court, which decided that blocking the Internet connection in the country was illegal.
After disabling access to the worldwide network, many Zimbabweans expressed discontent and outrage at the authorities’ attempt to restrict their communication.
Also, country residents were outraged that Internet service providers, such as Econet, comply with illegal requirements.
For example, Econet, a major Internet service provider in Zimbabwe, would restore data to users who lost it during a blockage.
