Four robbers who allegedly robbed the Menzi Primary School in Ekurhuleni will be brought to justice on Tsakane Magistrate Court on Monday, January 21. Young people between the ages of 23 and 38 are suspected of stealing school property.
They were arrested in Johannesburg on Friday during a crime intelligence operation by the police.
The police found 22 tablets and three laptops, and, according to the investigation, all the equipment was stolen from the Menzi school.
The newly opened school in Ekurhuleni was robbed last Tuesday. Criminals entered the place, and then into the store, stealing 185 student tablets, eight teachers’ laptops, two data projectors, three desktop projectors, a plasma TV, a digital video recorder with a hard drive and some cash.
The Menzi Primary School was officially opened by the Gauteng governmenton on January 9.
