Cyril Ramaphosa arrived at the SADC Double Troika Summit

On Wednesday, January 16, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa arrived in Addis Ababa, the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, to attend the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Double Troika Summit.

The South African leader is accompanied by the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Lindiwe Sisulu and Minister of State Security, Dipuo Letsatsi-Duba.

The event, aimed at reviewing and assessing the political situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo after the elections, will be held today, January 17.

As the South African government reported, at the conclusion of the Southern African Development Community summit there will be a consultative meeting of Head of States and Government of SADC Double Troika members, International Conference of Great Lakes Region (IC GLR), African Union Troika and the African Union (AU) Commission Chairperson.
