The African National Congress (ANC) states that it will accept the Democratic Alliance (DA) through the appropriate channels provided by the country’s electoral legislation, after an opposition party accused him of killing South Africans.
On January 16, the district prosecutor’s office went through part of the CBD, where it presented a billboard with the names of the victims of the massacre in Marikana and the tragedy of Life Esidemeni tradegy.
He also accused the ANC of being responsible for several tragedies, including the death of children in the toilets.
The ANC says that the antics of the district attorney show the level of despair that they have reached. “It became obvious that the DA was running out of ideas. The policy of the DA has gone bankrupt, and now they have reached the level of despair, because in the life of an African we do not ridicule death. ”
Meanwhile, DA leader Mmusi Maimane says that he will not be attracted to criticism from the ANC, who accused him of focusing only on the ruling party and not planning to win the election.
Speaking on the margins on the sidelines, Maimane refused to give a direct answer to the AZI Zizi Kodwa tweets on Tuesday, where he said: “Everything that Mmusi says concerns ANC, [he] cannot complete the sentence without mentioning [the party]. “When asked to weigh the comments, this was the answer to Maimane. “Zizi Kodwa must explain to people why ANC killed South Africans.” We are here to build a better South Africa for all. ”
The DA says that the tragedy of Life Esidemeni, the death of children in cesspools and the Marikana massacre in 2012 were the result of a failure in the leadership of the ruling party.
The opposition has attracted a large crowd of supporters to support their calls for a change of national government under the slogan “The ANC is killing us.”
Before the South Africans go to the polls, there are about four months left, and the district administration stressed that these are key elections for the party.
