ANC on top again in KZN

They have come from all corners of SA to celebrate party gathering in the black, green and gold colours of the ANC. Supporters dancing to freedom songs assembled at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, that was filled to the capacity of 85,000, making it a merry and joyful political get-together.

The ANC followers, wearing yellow T-shirts with the face of President Cyril Ramaphosa on the front, marked the effectiveness with which the ruling party campaign has been able to persuade the party rank and file of KwaZulu-Natal about the importance of unity and policy-making renewal in the run-up to the 2019 polls.

Ramaphosa’s achievement was in ensuring that his predecessor, Jacob Zuma, was accorded space and recognition wherever he was – paying tribute to the former president’s continued popularity in the area.
