African firm Revin based in Zambia had to suspend its energy drink production following a complaint from one of the customers.

A man from Uganda suffered severe pain from the prolonged erection caused by the drink. According to the tests shared by the Uganda National Drug Authority, the bottles contained an active drug used in Viagra production.

The organization assured it would launch an internal investigation.

“We have allowed the government or any of its agencies to conduct their own investigations as well, but as far as we know, the drink does not contain any drug,” an official statement said.

According to the product label, “natural extracts of ginger and tongkat ali, a well-known aphrodisiac, and testosterone booster” are the main ingredients of the drink.
