Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga will inspect schools with low performance in KwaZulu-Natal. According to the statement made on Tuesday, there is a large amount of schools in the province that showed the worst pass rate last year.
The authorities concerned about resolving these issues will try to investigate the reasons behind them in the first place, the ministry spokesperson Elijah Mhlanga said.
“We usually start with those schools to want to know what happened, what can we do to support them if we had already provided support. Then it’s time to make changes that will turn around the fortunes of the schools.”
