WCED: 8 new schools to open in Western Cape

According to the Western Cape Education Department (WCED), several new educational institutions will open their doors to students on Wednesday. Among the eight new schools, three mobile schools will be opened.

The schools have been built in Delft, Thembalethu in George, Ocean View and Kraaifontein. According to the WCED representative, parents who did not manage to get their children to school could contact the district office:

“Eight new schools will open this year to accommodate additional growth. Parents that still have not found placement for their children can contact their WCED district office for assistance,” the WCED’s Bronagh Hammond said.
