The South African currency stabilized after the dynamic growth shown last week related to the US Federal Reserve comments that hit the dollar.
This morning, the rand fell 0.02% to R13.9575 against the US dollar. This happened after the strengthening of the currency, and data shown on Friday. Then the rand reached a two-week high as the emerging markets were waiting for lowering interest rates on US central bank loans in 2019.
According to analysts’ forecasts, during the current session, the rand will trade in the range from R13.80 to R14.10 against the US dollar.
