On Sunday Limpopo police stopped a closed truck carrying a number of stolen items including a luxury white Range Rover, several LED TVs and others at the estimated value of millions of rand.
A Zimbabwean and two Ugandan nationals were detained.
The truck was confiscated and placed at the Seshego police compound outside Polokwane.
Police spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe was quoted by saying the incident has been confirmed and the details are to be provided later on.
It has been explained the truck was going from Gauteng to reach the Beit Bridge border in Musina. It was seized by the police just outside Polokwane.
The impound comes at the period of high alert on the roads, N1 in particular, as the 2018 holiday season started on Friday.
